Supporting Justice and Equality for Black Canadians

Betty's Law

For decades, I’ve dedicated my career to advocating for those who’ve been historically marginalized in Canada. Today, we stand at a pivotal moment. As the certification hearing for the Black Class Action approaches, I am reminded of the profound resilience, dignity, and determination of Black Canadians who seek justice and equality.

This hearing is more than a legal proceeding—it represents a powerful call to action, asking Canadians to reimagine a country where equity, justice, and fairness are not ideals but realities that are upheld by our federal government. We owe it to ourselves, our communities, and future generations to build a public service that reflects the diversity of Canada.

Join us on October 28th at the Federal Court of Canada (180 Queen St. West, Toronto) at 9:30 am to show your support and stand against racism. Your allyship matters, your support makes a difference, and together, we can transform history and the fabric of our society.
